Starting point for the work is a book. I modified the original story with tipp-ex*-lines and reduced it to a number of words and sentences, thus uncovering a hidden story from the existing text.

The presentation is composed of a continuous line of 59 pages positioned at eyelevel, spanning the entire circumference of the space.

The intimate character of the book is turned inside out. The word-images, function/work as a ‘monologue interieur’, they carry the viewer along. They determine the course of thinking that moves from inside [the literally indoor world: objects/things, and the world of feelings and emotions] to the outside [the landscape, the possibility to escape from…] and vice versa.

“Once you move along the pages, you notice that words have been removed with tipp-ex. Page after page, her inquiry provides new images, leaving words behind that get a new meaning in a landscape of emptiness.”
