'The 33 bi-focals in this book date from the period 1987-1990. The name bi-focals was given to works that fill the left and right page of a book. In 1990 Zeno X Gallery in Antwerp published a first edition of these works. This limited edition (30 copies) was printed using the silk-screen process. For the MUHKA exhbition, this book was reprinted in offset.'
