Taconis~ Kryn Taconis (1918 - 1979) was the only Dutch photographer member of Magnum. After the war Taconis became a freelance photographer and correspondent for Time-Life in the Benelux. He went to Algeria in 1957 to photograph the activities of the FLN (Front de Liberation National). The largest and last part of his life he spent in Canada Scarce.
